Rod mills are very similar to ball mills but instead of using grinding balls they use long steel rods to do the media grinding. Some miners believe that rod mills are more efficient than ball mills and that the desired product result is obtained at a lower cost per ton. But it depends on the material you are mining for that will ultimately decide whether you should use a ball mill or a rod mill. Luckily we carry a great selection of both and our used grinding equipment is in excellent condition and ready to use.
