Gold Reserve identified USD $87M of used and unused surplus assets across several of their mining operations worldwide.
Solution
Gold Reserve engaged AM King as their exclusive sales agent to assist with the process of marketing these assets to potential buyers. AM King advised Gold Reserve on the preservation and storage of their large unused Grinding Mills, Earth Moving Mobile Fleet, and their 75,000 TPD Process Plant (VertiMill, Cone Crushers, and Ball Mills). AM King provided an inspection of these assets and developed an extensive log of photos, documentation, and engineering data in preparation for prospective customer review.
Result
Over the course of 36 months, AM King’s storage plan not only saved Gold Reserve $250,000/year, but created an environment that provided an easy inspection process for potential buyers. AM King successfully identified several qualified buyers and negotiated the sale of all assets.
