Situation

In 2018 Coeur hired AM King to sell and move their entire 13,500 TPD mobile crushing system located at the Rochester Mine Site. Prior to the sale, Coeur needed to have the assets relocated to make room for a large scale mine expansion.

Coeur chose to work AM King as the only company with the bandwidth and knowledge facilitate a smooth transition on this time-sensitive project.

Solution

AM King worked with the Rochester Mine on pricing for the entire crushing package, spare parts and overland conveyor. AM King agreed to buy, load and relocate the assets. The assets were then staged at the new location in anticipation of the forthcoming global marketing campaign.

Result

AM King was able to save Coeur Mining hundreds of hours of mine site operational time and allow Coeur to write the surplus assets off their books. Within a short timeframe the assets were relocated, cleaned, and staged. They were then sold to a quarry in Washington and a Canadian Mining company with projects in Mexico.
